Adoption update--

This week we began to finalize our home study--a process that assesses our financial stability, mental and physical health, personal history and background, and of course how sutiable our home is for a new addition.  We are currently waiting for our State Police and FBI background checks, we are also waiting for results from some bloodwork.  Our next step will be to apply with the Department of Homeland Security for approval to being Dema into the United States as a US citizen.  That process normally takes 4-6 weeks! 

But, beyond all of the legal hoops we need to jump through, we are anxiously working towards the arrival of the kids August 14th!  If anyone would like to come to the camp to meet the kids, and potentially become a parent to one, please let us know--we will get you the details.  As of the last update, we have "forever homes" for 9 of the 19 kids!
